In July I was experiencing a stiff neck. It came on suddenly and the diagnosis was a herniated disc in my neck and upper back. As each day went by, the stiffness turned into some serious pain and the pain was generating into my shoulder and arm.
To be honest, I am an avid golfer. I’m on the course every weekend. As a result of this pain, my game came to a sudden halt. I could not swing a golf club to save my life.
Dr. Cook was the first person I decided to call. I am a copier technician and have worked on Dr. Cook’s copiers for some time. Besides that, different people have mentioned Churchill Chiropractic Clinic to me in conversation through the years, so I decided to give it a try.

I have suffered many years with a lower back problem. Through the years my backaches have become steadily worse. I had serious groin pain along with it. I would say that the last five to seven years I was just coping with it. I have two small granddaughters who I spend a lot of time with. I noticed that the more I lifted them or just enjoyed having fun with them, the next few days I would always suffer with pain. Also, with the job that I do, I spend a lot of time driving a car on inspections and by the end of a typical day, I would be on Motrin and lot of analgesic cream to cut the pain.
Last year I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis. I received a MRI ordered by my physician. That is when I was told of the spinal stenosis. She prescribed a drug called Mobic. I took the Mobic whenever my back went out, but I knew I had to do something about my situation, because it was not getting any better. I did not like the idea of major surgery! Luckily my husband had three MUAs done by Dr. Cook last summer. He suffered from a herniated disc in his upper back and neck. He is now 100% thanks to Dr. Cook. So that is when I decided to give Dr. Cook a try.
I have been going to Dr. Cook since the beginning of December 2007. Since I have started with Dr. Cook I can truthfully say that I feel a substantial difference already, plus, above all, I am pretty well drug free. I have now just finished my second MUA; matter of fact, I just arrived home from it. I feel fantastic!
